Well I went to Lowes today and got me a sheet of 3/4 MDF and they cut it all for me for free.

Only screwed up 1 cut and I made him cut a new piece.

So here are the pics, Its 4.4 cubes @ 32 hz one of Moe's stickied plans.

It will be housing a 15" L5 soon.

This here was my helper for the night (My daughter Caitlin)

Let me kow what you all think and I kow it has alot of caulk on it because I Love The Caulk!

Just remember....

The caulk goes on the inside only.

This bich has caulk on the inside and out, no leaks happening here.

amp is gonna be a small Insignia model for now, till i can get better.

I will cut the hole tomorrow or maybe when the L5 actually gets here.

I kinda need a template for the cutout of an L5 15", anyone got one for me?

yea, use the cutout that came with it. would have been easier imo to use a scroll saw on the piece, thats what i do.

No cutout.....sub is used and no cut comes with it.

Here is a good question should face the sub up or in the same direction of the port?

Going in a GMC Jimmy.

cut out can be found on kicker's website. no need to round the corners either...

Thanks for all the kind words, this is my first enclosure made from mdf, usually use particle board or plywood......I feel a flaming coming on....

Flip it over, trace it, take a ruler, measure the width of the flange and make another square inside the bigger one keeping that same distance all the way around

The corners dont need to be rounded.
