Well I ended up going with the kenwood DNX6160... So far so good very responsive and only complaint is initial boot up.

yeah...plus indash 6 DVD changer...all sorts of cool graphics...just no navi...I seldom use navi...but I can mount the portable Navi anywhere in the car since the car has the all glass scenic roof....
