Now that you've narrowed it down, here's what I'm waiting for. I haven't owned a Clarion before, how are they?

Thanks for all the info. I have narrowed it down to the Kenwood Excelon DDX-8017 or Eclipse AVN5500 or 6600(not sure if its worth the extra cost). Any info on the Kenwood? Thanks

I had the kenwood 7017 before the eclipse and it was good as well. If adding the nav down the road is something that is a possibility, just get the 6600 now IMO. I prefer the 6600 over the 5500 because of the dual DVD slots. So the mpa disc is in and a DVD Video/MP3 disc can still be played in the other. I don't think you can go wrong with either one though.

Yeah, I keep posting the link, because I'm getting fvucking impatient. I have every other piece of equipment sitting in boxes waiting for this HU. I should probably quit recommending it since it's not even out yet and is unproven.
