Looked at that Audison amp, real sweet amp, don't think it is big enough though.....Really starting to think I might go active with these components, especially after looking at the DD S4 amp. Are there any other companies that offer a amplifier similar in design to the DD S4????

there are amps kind of like it but not with anywhere near the power.

i have mine powering my PG RSD's. they are rated for 60 watts a side(with passives). you can never have too much power.

if you have the cash for the S4, then do it. sick amp.

Cant imagine buying a better amp for the money. Of course you have to be comfortable buying used stuff. I have no problem buying a used amp for not even close to retail.

I do not have a Hu yet, I'm tryin to figure out what to buy! At first, I wanted to get a kenwood DDX-6019 or something comparible, but from what I have been reading, It sounds like sound quality suffers a little bit when you goto something like this.....dunno, really confused about the whole HU deal!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

get a alpine 9887 or a pioneer 880. even though the S4 has all the knobs the only one i use is the gain knob. lol my 880 does it all.
