new comp set

alright so i have a fi btl off of a sundown 3000d and i am really amazed at the bass but its alittle to much for my kicker comp set to keep up its all bass and no voice. i was wondering what you guys would reccommend for them. right now i have a kicker 350.2 laying around so i would like to use that for now and as soon as i by the comps i will save up for a sudown 100.4.

I would recmend the hertZ MLK or focal or even Boston pro60's

ya i am keeping that into consideration i just want something better than my 6x9's and somewhere in the 300 dollar range for the set

I have extensive personal experience with only two component sets really, but they are in your price range.

One is the MB Quart PVI-216, my friend has these, powered by the same kicker amp you mentioned actually, and they sound great, very clear, and loud.

The other is the Rainbow SLC-265. I have these myself, and they are very impressive components, and can be had for around $200 or so. But for a little more you could step up and get the Rainbow CSX 465.20, which are a little higher end Rainbows than the SLC line.

I have never heard any Dayton products. But if I am not mistaken, Dayton is used for DIY equipment, and does not sell any actual component sets.

daytons do sound good, if you go active they will work great.
