I like it, the only thing I would do is add a panel over the top covered in the same color vinyl as the bow cushion, just to make it fit in more and avoid the carpet getting worn. How is the output compared to the SAs?

To keep this thread on track, I'm glad to see a grille on that sub considering where it's placed. I've seen many subs beaten to death in the trunks of cars by groceries, etc. And that grille looks very nice.

The box would look sick, if it's sturdy enough, if you covered the top in cushioned vinyl to match the front of the boat there though.

Yea Ive thought about putting buttons on it, and get like a 2 - 3" thick piece of foam and vinyl that so that it could be a removable cushion of some sort. The box is sturdy enogh to stand and jump on no issues. Its also a lot deeper than what you see, it's continues under the cushion about 18 inches. There's also a 4" x 20" aero port which vents under the cushion, it makes for quite the front box vibrations.

Yea, i switched from 2 SA10 each on an audiopipe APSM1300 to 1 10" SSA XCON. The output is about equal to both sa10s, but the SSA seems to respond to the lower notes a bit better. I think it might have to do with the 3" vs 4" port between the SA10 and SSA boxes, respectful.
