I decided to sell my car, since I want a 5sp. manual, and it will be to much to change ******'s in my car. Iam going to be getting a Nissan 300Zx for like $2,000. It looks pretty sweet, and it is a 5sp v6:yumyum: runs 120 easy. Hopefully it will still be there when I get my money

Yea, their engines are harder than hell to blow. My dad had his for like 23 years, runs almost as good as it did when he bought it, well maybe not, but it still runs and drives.

Yea, mine car right now is too light, I go around a turn and the back end spins half way around. The only problem about the 300Z is that it is a hatchback. I gotta try to talk my friend out of buying it, so I can:up2somet:

I don't see how the 300ZX is heavy; it's 3300 lbs ...

DE or DETT? I have a DE '95. Pearl white, stock chrome, 5spd, running strong. DE's are slow since they are heavy. Nice cars if in good condition and taken care of. By the sounds of a Z32 for 2K its not gonna be in great condition. It might be "okay"...just personal experience from owning one.

Iam not sure what it is, I know its a 300ZX and it's red. I drive by it everyday, the body seems to be in pretty good shape. Iam gonna go take a good look at it tomorrow and maybe test drive it.

The DEs arent SLOW, but not as fast as the DETT. I rode in the non turbo V6 (DE) and it was pretty **** quick.

My dream car is a 240SX, I am pretty close to my dream car right now, with my alty because it has the same engine as a 240sx. The bad thing is, he works at the place that is selling it. Maybe if I can talk him out of buying it, he can help me get it by holding it for me until I get the cash, or maybe I could go put a downpayment on it since I know the owner of the shop.

i know a guy who bought a 300z to use as a autocrosser. power is pretty smooth, but i noticed it lacked a little on the bottom end. mid range is pretty solid though.

well I raced a DETT...He shoulda ***** me but I kept up..got himoff the line too.. (that was with my 100lbs of W10GTi and enclosure in rear too) so he had weight adv and power adv. yet when we finished his rear was at my passenger door

bbut my DE's not fast at all...

my friends S13 w/RB20DET is pretty quick and its completely stock...

i blew the Q25 or whatever it is in the se-r's (2002) and plenty of my buddies have blown KA's with ease. i've never been a fan of nissan, atleast the ones i've driven. hell....the se-r wasnt even a spec-v, it was automatic lol.

Blah, might as well forget the 300ZX, my so called friend is going to buy it just because I wanted to buy it BTW it was a turbo. It's all cool tho, Iam not a big fan of that color red, and plus it was a T-Top, I hate T-tops because they leak alot on older cars. However, I did get a tip on a '89 mustang, it is pretty wild, and has a nice paintjob. It's a "12 second" car according to the guy that told me about it. I might check it out.

Sounds nice. Though be warned, Mustangs are expensive to insure and heavily modified usually means thoroughly unreliable. Also, you often cannot replace parts on no longer produced bolt on's.
