Same, my GN I plan on keeping for a long time, and eventually making it a dedicated drag car.x2, starting with my last car, ive started buying cars that i plan on keeping for a very long time if not the rest of my life.
This is why I love you, because we see eye-to-eye on the more important things in life, like Imp's being badassthere is an exception to every rule
What is that? Looks so familiar.
I say an old Bel-Air, red with white, tubbed, either a Nitrous BBC, or a TT SBC based off an LSx platform, most likely a TT 427, or maybe a 421 or 422 with the ability to take a 200-300 shot.
OR just a nice 67 nova with a 10-71 545

Well then that answered your question.no lol i like the caprice, impalas and vics
Cant believe I didnt see that.... Im so much better with newer cars than older ones. I just noticed the GTO and Chevelle shared the same platform :shootsselfinface, I just never noticed it before. I can notice most older Chevys, but Mopar stuff I have a hard time telling the diff betwen the cuda, charger, and superbee and such. Mopar is gay anyway,so it doesnt matter.looks like an impala to me
im taking a nap
It all depends on what you are trying to achieve- Crown Vics are pretty disposable... Parts are easy to find and they are abundant, easy to work on, but all in all not very fashionable.
They are fun and fast, cheap and easy, and will last you if you take care of it right.
They would be 100x better with the DOHC 4.6 and a 6 speed manual ****** though.
Well then that answered your question.
Grab a Imp SS,or the vic, both would suit you incredibly well.

Hemi=overrated POS. Anyone can see the lack of quench pad in the head design does not allow for the best cylinder cooling, and thus would need higher octane. Even with reg head design the hot and cold air hitting each other would still be better because of the access to a quench pad to cool it off.
Actually, I dont smoke in my car, I like the smell it has now...leather hehe. It has a lot of stuff most cars dont have, and I love it because of that. Once you own a GN or G-body car, you fall in love with it. It isnt like mustang or camaro love, its a different, more emotional attachment to the car. This car is the best thing that can happen to your life besides the realization that *** is a possibility.after you got done cleaning the pot smell out of it, and the resin that im sure is clinging to the dash it would be a great car to have
Its just semantics//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif if only the whole hetrosexual thing didn't get in the way:blush:
You can drive it if you ever come to the WC.Okay, not gonna lie...
I WANT marley's car...
talking about gto's and big blocks makes me miss our old boat with two 454's in it
Why? The interceptor motor is easier to work on but the DOHC has more balls and that nice growl at 6000 rpm. The SOHC sounds weak in comparison IMO.i'd keep the interceptor motor
well if i was trying to go fast, i might consder that.... but if i was trying to go fast i wouldn't have a crown vic in the first place! Why? The interceptor motor is easier to work on but the DOHC has more balls and that nice growl at 6000 rpm. The SOHC sounds weak in comparison IMO.
