New Car...Help

long story short, my bros car is breakin down, hes leaving in a few months, he drive my car for a while, i get a new car. when bro gone, daddy drives my old car.

Well ive decided to get a 94 crown victoria, and stuck between two cars

1. Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor $1500 and 164k miles

I like the way the white one looks much better than the blue one, its cheaper, and a "police interceptor" but the drawback is the mileage. I looked up both on carfax and both seem to check out good.

my one of my concerns is what the difference between a Police interceptor and a normal vic is, and ill throw a "what would you buy" question out there as well.

Same here. But there are cars I'd much rather have for that kind of cash.

Interceptor is faster, but they're both still slow as balls.

like what? i dont want an asian car....my dad brought home this pimped out 88 Benz 300SEL, but the interior was terrible and yea wasnt worth the fixing.

also im not really looking for speed....just something to drive around in and reliability

If you don't want an asian car, than it's hardly worth looking at anything else. An import is about the only thing I'd consider worth buying in that price range, with a few (VERY few) exceptions.

yea there's WAY too much rice up in these parts i need my car to stick out to me when looking through a crowded parking lot.

Crown Vics are good cars. The 5.0 and 4.6 are two of Ford's better engines in that year range. I'm assuming a 94 would have a 5.0, seeing as how the 4.6 didn't show up until 96.

in googling it, says the vic has the 4.6 back to 92. 5.0 stoped at 91 thanks for the help man!

Don't know much about vics. I know the mustangs didn't see the 4.6 til 96 though. Either way, I've seen some vics with some serious miles on them.

but just out of curiosity, how much miles? im not gonna do anything heavy on this...just school, work, friends house thats it

I've seen upwards of 220k on CVs, that still ran strong, and rode quite nicely.
