i am running 3 rockford fosgate 12'' speakers with 2 sony amps. these run alot of power from my main battery. i bought a new car battery to power these subs. im not quite sure on how to hook it up while being charged by my alternator or other car battery. someone please tell me how to hook this up and what i need to hook it up.

first, do your big 3 in 1/0

then get a 1/0 amp wire kit and an extra fuse holder, with at least a 200 amp fuse

0 GAUGE AMP POWER KIT

Knukonceptz product detail for IN-LINE WATERPROOF ANL FUSE HOLDER W/ FUSE

then wire the battery up like you would your amp, + post of the main bat to + of the bat in the trunk. then ground the rear bat to something solid, ie. frame if you can find it or a solid structural piece of the body, not a thing trim piece, and make sure you sand the grounding spot to metal so you get a proper connection.

then run your amp power and grounds from and to the rear battery and your finished.

just curious, what kind of battery did you get?
