with out the amps how much room is there between the subs and the inside of the back of the trunk.

Im not sure what you mean but I think you are assuming that im firing to the rear. This is a forward fire and from the baffle to the back of the trunk is about 4 feet. The amp rack is going on the *** of the back seat so my car is now a two seater. I have pics of some more work i did yesterday but i cant post them til lunch.

Rings aren't mounted yet. Just want to give an idea of what its gonna look like. Side pieces look like they aren't 90 degrees but they are. They do not fit flush against the edge but I used some Gorilla glue to expand and fill the gap. Then I'm gonna caulk it and I already mentioned that every seam will be glassed and resined for extra strength and for air tightness.

Pics are a little dark so I used a flash light. Amp rack looks good but last night I was putting in the screws to attach it to the sheetmetal and I went in to far and put not one but two holes in my gas tank. Turns out there is a two part putty specifically for fixing holes in gas tanks so I spent two hours fixing that. All taken car of now and tomorrow I'll get some more work done. Mostly caulking and trying to mount the MDF rings. Then determining exactly the size of the box so I can get port dimensions. I've already gone throught nearly two sheets of MDF and I might have to get more to do the port.

I got the rings hot glued in place. Not real happy with it. Its such a ***** to get the exact. The first was easy cuz I just put it where I wanted it but I had to do so much tweaking on the second to get it right. Measure the volume of the box. Little bigger than I wanted but not too large. Roughly 8.63 cubes after sub and port displacement. I went with 116 sq inches of port tuned to 32 Hz. 32 seems farily nominal for a D/D but I should still get some high numbers. Perhaps not the 150 I was hoping for but that would have just been luck anyway. I'll be happy with 145 or 146 I guess. Probably wont be too long and I'll need louder and I'll be droping two SS XXX 15s in with 4 Incriminator Audio 20.1s. But thats down the road....way down the road. I'll have pics up on Monday. I'm about to go cut out the MDF for the port then start stapling the fleece. I got some pretty cool fleece. Yall will get to see it on Monday.
