took out my rl-p's today and ripped everything else out. plans are for a 4 cube tuned to 38 hz with 3 4" aero ports. slant front box firing into the cabin sealed off from the trunk this time around. I did not seal the trunk off completely with the rl-p's, will see if it makes a difference this time.

also plan on buying a used 2608 from a member on here either tonight or tomorow for power instead of the 1606 i currently have.

not many pics right now just car stripped of old equipment and interior peices. ports and carpet come tomorow so i should have some box pics for u guys tomorow

what old setup looked like from front seats looking back:

new setup will be similar, gives an idea since i have no sketchups of the box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

ups did come untill late yesterday so couldnt get a start on it untill today. had to change up the design a tad but it will be 3.92 cube at 38 hz

the baffle for the aeros isnt mounted yet, rest of box is assembled as in pictures though. need some more mdf and my hdc and then i can complete this part of it

edit: when psps gives me these measurments for ports, which calculated length do i cut the 5" off of extra?

Volume of Box in Cubic Feet: 3.92

Tuning frequency 38

Port diameter 4

Number of Ports 3

Straight Length Port required 15.02

Flare Length Port required 16.02

so the box barely fits in the trunk opening without a top baffle on yet.... gonna have to put that peice on inside of the car i guess. any good way of doing this? wont be able to screw it on, just brads and weight on top while the tightbond cures?

only got a little bit done today due to holiday yesterday and crowded *** lowes taking forever to rip a sheet of mdf for me.

ports were to wide to mount to the baffle and have enough room for the 15 to mount, so i had to bevle the edge a tad. wish i could of made the box wider but it JUST fits in the trunk opening as it is now with no top on. going to have to wait to mount that untill its inside the car

bassicially dead in the water until sub and amp show up, ups is horrible durring the holiday seasons

i dont know if i should carpet where the baffle is black or repaint it, or how to finish off sections of the box any opinions? i have that black paint, black carpet, and charcol carpet
