New box, whatcha think?

Just got done building this box, it's roughly 2.2 cubic feet @ 36hz, have a lot of people telling me they think it's too big... what do you guys think? Obviously it's not done cosmetically, sounds pretty good so far from what i've heard.

My setup is a type R obviously, amp is an M500

whoever is telling you 2.2cu ft is too big for that sub, stop talking to them.

that box is especially not too big if you have lesser than enough power, efficiency > people who dont know what they are talking about

i've built a box for 2 type r 12's, that was 5cuft tuned to 30hz, with kerfed port....and it slammed, i was curious how it would sound being a lil oversized, but it turned out well imo
