New box, please help!!!

I need a new box for my subs... like yesterday. I want to build it myself because I'll save some money and I think it will be a good learning experience. My uncle is a carpenter and I can use all his equipment no problem, all I need to know is what materials I'll need aside from the obvious MDF board and some good advise on size. I have two 12" Alpine Type X's and I'm thinking about a bandpass box, but If sealed or vented are better options I'm open to everone's opinion.

Ok... If nobody can give me some advise than can someone refer me to a website that might be able help me out?

use a bandpass only if you will be competing...

you will need:

woodglue

mdf

screws

pencil

eraser

jigsaw or router for cutouts

saw for cutting the panels(circle, band, table, ect...)

I am thinking if there is anything else....
