k. first off i got a 98 cavalier z24 and right now i got a t-line with 2 12s firing towards the rear of the car. i want to do something different for next year. 4th order anyone.....

i dont know how well this one will work. i dont know if it would be better to have it fire through the rear deck or like this one is. the trunk will be sealed off either way from the cabin. what do you think i should do....

go 4th order or just do a huge ported box.....

Well I'll tell ya now. When I tried modeling it up in WinIsd it was supposed to peak at 46hz. But when it got into the vehicle it was peaking in the high 30 hz's. So what you see on paper is not going to be what you get in real world. What are the specs on the box?

sealed chamber=2.2 after displacement

ported chamber=5 after displacement

tuned to 75hz peak at 78hz

Never done a burp bandpass before...

Try modeling in WinISD something like 2 cubes sealed and 6 ported tuned to 60hz or so. Just go from there.
