new box help

i am in the process of building a new box for my 12s i have a sealed one now and am building a ported one. is it ok if i use the same amp a1801t amp that i am using now and it still sound good and be louder that what i have now? thanks

ported boxes are usualy louder than sealed if made properly, yeah you can use the same amp.
