No, I meant what TYPE of primer and sealer. And btw, sealer goes on BEFORE the paint, and actually before the primer.

So how do you paint a box like that? I would rather paint then carpet... what are the steps?

well like lemans said you can use sealer so the MDF doesnt soak up the primer, then prime it, and paint. easy as that. Since this paint was the Fleckstone and wasnt really able to "soak" in, i just primered and painted.

Why don't you guys make the baffle full board? I always see it the way you did it. Do you find it easier for the port construction?

because it is much much easier to do it the way he did. cutting the wood and assembly goes faster done the way he did it. There are no real strength differences either way, but using a solid piece as the front can come out looking nicer.
