new box for SE 3/5 @34 *pics*

i say this as nicely and as respecfully as someone can..........your a fvcking dumba$$. now before you come back with "you dont know anything about building boxes" please.....read what i have to say. after building a few with JUST screws in my beginning days, and then using glues AND screws as of late.........you will NEVER have a box as strong as a glued up box. the screws are clamps, only for as long as the glue is drying. then by all means YOU CAN TAKE THEM OUT. IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE! Moe only uses glue on his boxes, nothing else........but let me guess.....he has NO CLUE what hes doing.correct?
(from another thread)

and thats what I plan on doing, REMOVING the screws //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif haha they were only in there to "clamp" the box together for a little while til the glue hardened up

406er: He "claims" that that's just the angle the pic was taken at, it's really straight.Yeah.......riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight haha.
Looks like someone is also good with MS paint..........

Looks alright except the screw issue.
who else is goog with ms paint

alright so he has finally decided he is going with a fleck-stone paint with a tealish color (color of his car) along with some black and white specks. will post some pics when he gets it done

Hmm...I remember that "thread" as well. I will still argue about it and saywhat is a moron for doing so...using glue only is just stupidity....using glue AND screws, if the builder so disires, is just as better. If the builder uses screws only and no glue, how is that gonna change???? Screws aren't "clamps" in my building....they hold the pieces together. There is no audioable difference if glue isn't used rather than using screws and glue. Yes many people prefer to use glue...that doesn't mean its neccessarily required at the same time....its by choice. I can show you mounds of pics that I've taken of the boxes I have built that I didn't use a drop of glue on them. My last box, which is for my 4 10's, I didn't use any glue....none. And it's very strong. Glue's only purpose is to bond together, that's it.
You are so stupid it isn't funny.

ah every time i look at that hole makes me wonder about how much of a rip off that roto zip with the circle jig is.....

but on a positive note, let me introduce.........................Mr. ChewsAsianBeaver!!

and i was explaining the reason why the screws were exposed in that hole was to "clamp" the top and bottom together until the glue set.....The glue is now set and, wait a minute, NO SCREWS!(in the sub hole at least)

Boomnblzr, I did not say I was going to remove every screw on the box, moron. read the thread. I only took out the 2 that were in the sub hole

you are. earlier in the post everyone was knocking on the 2 screws sticking out.......... i forgot i have to specify everything on here because people are too lazy to read through a 5 page thread............

not so much, woulda ran the port a lil longer if the front was full, it would be the same either way, xcept we'd have to cut the port hole in the front, where we did not have to in this situation

MoRE pICs......

after paint

a lil texture shot

a lil better? dont judge a box when its ***** and half finished.

haha some more work to do, but it should be done tomorrow with some more pics
