New box for MTX 9500 15"

Next week i'll build another box for my 9515. Ported.

In the manual, the ported box size is 2.48ft³ but i sent a email to mtx answering for a box for my sub and the answer is:

2.92ft3 port - 2"W x 15.5"H x 27.5"L

and now what should i do?

The manual box or the Technical Support box?

Did they say if that 2.92cuft was gross or net? Because if you take 2.92cuft and subtract out the displacement of the port, it comes out to 2.43cuft net, which is very close to the 2.48cuft in the manual.

I dunno....just a thought.
