Hi im looking to buy a new battery to fix my dimming and cutting off problem. I have been looking at Kinetiks but there are no side posts ones for GM cars. wouldnt i have to extend the cables if i got a top post battery? What battery do you reccomend me for just about 1300 watts rms

I've had good luck with optima's bothe red and yellow top. If you're going yo play your system for long periods without the car running look at the optima yellow top. Costco (if there's one in your area) has them avaliable for $180 with both top and side posts.

go to cartoys if they are local they have red tops for 129.99 its the cheapest i could find. red tops r good for starting so throw one up front, if you need something later for rear throw a kinetik or yellowtop in back

I have had good luck with Exide Orbital Gell Cell, you can get them at Napa also but they just say Napa on them. They have dual terminals ao use one set for you factory stuff, the other for your accessories.

if you go kinetik just extend your cars cables. but the easiest way to go is a yellowtop for sure

I think you said you had a 750.1 in another thread.. How many watts are you pushing with it?

How many watts are you pushing with any other amps, and if there are (750.1 1300), is it a A/B amp or class D?

I've heard that Interstate deep cycle batteries are good and of course Optimas are the bomb. What I would do is just get an all around good battery like the Die Hard Security, which you push a button on a remote to activate or something like that. That way your engine's starter is disabled. Then I would get one, or if you have the money and need, two Optima Yellow tops and install or have them installed in the trunk of your vehicle, you'll need an isolator. Obviously the wiring from the Optima batteries to your amps will be short, thus less overall noise and impedance, which is good.
