After my student loan residuals come in, I'm getting mine lol.

yeah he said 6-8 weeks minimum. he also said those 8 layer flatwind coils that you get for free on the first shipment cost 35 bucks his cost. i might just order the 15 play with it for a while and then when the 18's come in sell it and upgrade. he also said with that coil these things can take 6,000 watt burps. i like how he takes his time to talk to you. gives you a good feeling about doing business.

Yeah, DJ has talked my head off a few times. It's awesome that the owner of the company doesn't mind at all to sit down and chat for 10-20 minutes. He's even walked me through a recone, you can't really say that for other manufacturers.

But I guess it's better to have something (like a woofer) then to just slowly watch that amount disappear in your bank account and have nothing to show for it... I almost hate being on scholarship for the sheer fact that I don't know what it is like to get left over money... but I guess it's nice to leave school debt free, right?! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

its not possible to runa dual 1ohm at 1 ohm is it. i know you can runa dual 2ohm at one ohm.

one dual 1 ohm woofer can be wired to .5 and 2.

two dual 1 woofers can be wired to .25, 1, and 4

Yeah, leaving debt free is nice, but I got too many vices. I'm on scholarship as well, but I still take out loans because it's gonna be some of the lowest interest money I'll get in awhile. WOW!!!! $229 for a 12"! I'm so tempted to pick 2 up as soon as they're available.

However, I have one question for DJ, should he see this. This is in regards to a post I made earlier in this thread about the bottoming out issue with the HD3 equipped with the newer soft parts. Will these new subs bottom out at the same point as the newer soft part HD3? I noticed that the HD3 with the original parts never bottomed out one me. Egg mentioned that he got his equipped with more spiders to prevent this. So, my question is, will the HDC3's require more spiders, or will it even matter due to the new design?

Its the 12 spoke basket that cause that,IIRC u can get 8 spyders which helps with high powered street beating,I think the issue is only with the 12" and 10" subs.

The issue was with over 6000 watts on a 10" sub with hundreds of burps on them with the standard suspension.

I think my huge 9917 install might be changing to a 10" HDC3
