its for if the woofers are running out of phase i think ,but not sure. leave it all the way down . and yes they are not cheap already have one tho , just getting another and gonna strap them at .7

should be loud as hell.did it with 2 powerbass xta 5000's in feb and did a 152.8 in my truck pretty consistant in 3 runs back to back.this time i'll have 5k more,cant wait
