RCA Cables

Is there a difference in car audio RCA cables and home theater cables? Are car audio cables shielded differently? Or a larger gauge?

Do they higher priced cables make a huger difference? As far as home audio everything I've read is that the high end cables are a rip off.

If there is no diff I would get something like this:

An RCA cable is an RCA cable, but a lower end cable may have a higher chance of inducing engine noise into your system.

cable is usually cable but the car cables tend to be more flexible.

car cables usually have thicker shields, to help reject noise and are generally twisted to also help all of my monster home rcas arn't twisted.

true and false... my higher end audioquest wires have much more shielding then my car rca's and they are all twisted (audioquests).

and if you actually dissect the monster high end they are actually twisted...

I would definitely suggest spending a bit more than the link you had for the home audio cables. My friend had noise that was introduced by "cheap" rca's which was solved my replacing the cheaper wires with some relatively inexpensive Zero noise car rca's...
