New Alpine Type R's

So i have an ALpine SWR-1043D (the newest generation)

Im just wondering, can these subs take a beating? Their rated at 600rms but anyone know how much more can i throw at it?

the sub sounds pretty good too me and ive always liked alpine but im just wondering if i should sell it and upgrade cuz if i upgrade im gonna lose a lot of money on it

wouldnt put more than 800 to em.. i had a new series type r 15 and a zx750 was making her move and then some....

I got an older 1243d I'd put 1k on it no problem. Like said above I wouldnt put more than 800 on them.

Just make sure your power's clean and they'll handle 850w.

Yea had 1 12 and 2 15s. They sounded good and got loud but kinda sounded muffled sealed. Port it to get the full potential.

Holy ****. I just put a ported sub from my crappy sealed box and my system is louder than my brothers and it is rediculous ly loud. It's seriously like a times 10 improvemennt I had to turn my gain down alot lol. I ha no idea the difference in sound and quality. Its an attend box tuned to 37 hz 45 bux on amazon lol

lol I've ran 1700 to mine no sweat, I've been at 1400 daily for a long time now.

I had 4 12s bout 700 to each they were moving very well got loud for their price not read low
