Well, also because it is a 3 ohm coil and it is hard to find a car amp that would drive them hard enough.

That'd be why most people don't use them in their car. Most are used in the house, as a low end monster. I just wish the adire tumult was still being produced. I heard great things about using them in home audio.

I see a ton of people going with the maelstrom x for in home apps. If I was looking for a in home monster, that would be it..
