i didnt say it would be a 5400 clone, i said i was guessing it was intended for roughly the same purpose, stupid loud daily, although i doubt with the SQ of the 5400.

i assumed you were saying the 5400 was not a daily driver sub saying i meant the 5200, does it not have lms?

We don't. We just wanted a different dustcap.. he decided to decline as it wouldn't be free advertising unless it's on the woofer in plain site. He also stated he doesn't need any of us to buy it, his personal profits will be fufilled. Thankfully steve apparently is a prophet and what he says happens. though.. I am unsure how well that works OUTSIDE his forum..

i don't fully understand what you're talking about here. All i'm saying is that it won't achieve the same thing that the 5400 can and would be more along the line of the 5200, stupid loud daily. Even then, i doubt if the SMD would have the same SQ as the 5200. And no, the 5200 did not utilize LMS technology, only the 5400 and the 4000 did
