New AA SMD Woofer

I think a lot of ppl on here used the btl's bc its a badass sub that has been tested and shown some resultz(numbers)...
not bc Steve used them and they were loud in his ride

Either way the sub looks like its gonna be a monster, with or without the dustcap

My question is why dosen't FI or AA have something like this available already ? Perhaps because there is too small of a market to make it viable ? Good luck to SMD, especially if he is backing this out of pocket..

Personally, I really wouldn't be interested unless it has 30+ mm of one way linear xmax and could play the lower octaves....

Well after going through the first few pages everyone seems concerned with the logo more than the specs of the subs. Who cares what meade acts like, hes not the one making them it just has his name on it.

heres what i see.... meade has alot of money.... unlike me... he has 20000+ watt and is only doing a what 160 on the lab.... thats not too impressive when my teammate is doing a 155.5 on 6000.... and from what i hear... he paid to get these subs made

People should just really let this all go.. For the record, the 160, or close to is done without a wall. That I will say is impressive. Lets just try to keep to the topic. The subs are beasts...

Man - Can't believe I read all that!!!

I am not a Steve "follower" or "hater". Never met him, just surf his site now and then to see what is up in the manufacturer sections and the caddy build. It is obvious he does awesome work and knows how to get daily vehicles loud. . .

I met Scott for the first time at the Fi office (I was in Vegas at the SEMA show) and saw this woofer in person. When you see it in person, you will not care what dust cap it has. Talking to Scott, this will be an incredible woofer for people who like to run daily with 4000 watts like me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Can't wait for the 15 to come out so I can get my hands on a few. . .

first of all, its the CADDY on 16,000 (bass) that does a 159 dash and 160 kick.

my tahoe has 20,000 (bass) and does about a 157 and some change......even a 158 here at the house on my own termlab.

In a different car, something smaller, im fairly positive i can do a 155 on 6,000. Who cares though, this thread isnt about how impressed you are with my tahoe (or lack thereof) its about my new sub, the one i DIDNT pay a penny to have made......but i hope to MAKE plenty of pennies.
