New 2010 Hifonics Brutus line amps

I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with the new brutus line amplifies. Thinking about picking one up maybe a 1700d or a AQ 1200d for a set of sdc2.5 15's. Are they about the same as the old ones. So far word is that there a little better seems like a good buy to me.

Supposedly the BRZ is on par with the DSC's and the HIFi is on par with the old Brutus/Zeus line...it remains to be seen

I have 2 2010 Hifonics Brutus Amps. There 2600X1.......For price no complaints, but I am sure there is more bang for the buck out there than hifonics. I can say they get very hot when pushed, but are more tame on the electrical system than other amps. Keep looking and hopefully someone with more input will chime in!!!

I had a BRZ 1200 hooked @ 1ohm with L5 DVC 4 OHM, after few days the kept on going into protect mode, i checked everything but nothing was wrong with the wiring, now i have exchanged the amp with BRZ 1700 .1D let see if that makes any difference.

The DSCs are cheaper then the BRZs, if I was looking in this price range, I would just pick up a DSC as it is a proven product
