Not as much as you may think actually. I'm not saying everyone who smokes steals, but plenty of studies support that weed is heavily popular with in the circles of illegal activity. I don't want to get into this conversation on this forum again though.
As long as ones actions do not effect or have a chance to effect my family in a negative way then I don't care for the most part. I still have my views and personal beliefs but they are just that.

Eating is also popular with criminals. As is driving, and owning guns. I'm not trying to offend you; by the way, did you ever ask the wifie(girlie?) about those reports you said I could read?

Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. It is 2011(almost 2012). Regardless of timing this very topic has been around longer then most of you have been alive.

Opinions can only be had when there isn't definitive proof for either side. His "opinion" is that cannabis is addictive -- factually incorrect. His "opinion" is that cannabis is a gateway drug -- factually incorrect. He's also made wild claims that are impossible to disprove, but so highly unlikely(while also being surrounded by hatred and lies) that a rational person can do nothing but say he's wrong.

weed is a depended its not addictive. i quit smokin weed at the drop of a hat after smoking everyday for the past 8 years. i have smoked weed for the past 11 years.

I've been to drug classes before from probation. I'm not addicted to weed as I could stop smoking at any point in time without any hesitation. I have no need to stop smoking right now so I continue to do so. If I were to get a really good job offer where I would have to quit, then I would most certainly quit.

Understandable for sure. Like I said I don't want to get into the whole right/wrong conversation. However, to say something 100% not addictive is an obscured statement. Anything can be addictive as everything has different affects on people.

Also I wanted to mention my post because from a legal level what most have typed in this very thread would allow them to be labeled an addict.

I agree, and I said that I don't believe that study 100%.

You can not say something is not addictive just because. People can become addicted to anything..100% anything.

I forgot all about talking to her about them, I'm sorry. She just recently changed jobs so I will see what is going with all that tonight.

I don't support it at all actually. My personal view as most know is very negative about it. However, several of my best and closest friends do smoke or have in the past. So don't think that my views alter who I am around. If they are good people they are just that.

One of my best friends is an air craft engineer and he has been smoking for around 15 or so years. Of course he has cut way back, but his view is that he is addicted and can not quite as he has tried several times.

I'm quoting your post partly for truth. It's not incorrect to say that some people are dependent on cannabis. That doesn't mean they're addicted. Many people are dependent on many things, for the same reasons as the people dependent on cannabis. For instance, people can be dependent on certain types of food, or on parents, sleep, hand sanitizer, video games, cleanliness, dirtiness. The list is literally infinitely long, because dependency isn't caused by the substance. It's caused by chemicals in the brain which often have NO correlation to said substances.
