Never Rush An Install!!!!

i learned the hard way...lol...well...last week or rather say this week...i rushed my install in my car so i could compete in yesterdays car show...re-did the big three on thursday and didnt check where the wires were run...a big mistake!!!!...this morning when my sister took the car out to go shopping...car caught on fire...the plastic coating from positive wire from alt to batt was melted by the exhaust manifold...the wire was grounded, sparked and caught on fire..i panicked like crazy cuz i wasnt there and my $1000+ of equip was inside...thankfully the fire died without any major damage...

it was a purple hexagon wire...we had a comp yesterday...the loudest car was 150.9...i came in 4th with 145.4...ill get pics in a bit...gonna run somewhere real quick
