dont confuse chris averi``s white astro with the blue van that mcvay had averi`s van was a team jbl van with two crowns in the back with a 4th order band pass.

yes that is one of them. but if i recall right he had two vans one he was doing for drag and the one in the pic.

ya that van that mcvay had never came out when we went up there he always took out a blazer with a 3/4 wall never seen that van run. he called chris out and we went to his old shop for a show and it was there but he never came out with it keeped on saying he was waiting on batterys.

no chris jeep when he had his blazer. Then we had some fun and built the Xtreme astro and brought that up to his shop. for its first time out. it was built for slap/iasca finals. This is when we found out he bought two vans. He also had some guy up there that is know doing The TNESPl with the green rx7 Them guys could not beleve The #s we were doing back then. lol Them were the fun days.

Now I remember that RX7. IIRC, it was a trailer queen but wasn't that loud.

not that i know of,steve smith is the guy with the rx7,as far as i know the highest it did was 158 on the audiocontrol

Thx TJ you are right I got them mixed up. Sorry about the confusion guys... that was the year that Alma Gates had her JBL Bronco at Finals //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and the SQ cars for the team were there too... that was freaking awesome.

ya thats his name Steve Smith. good guy. but you should have seen his face when we came up there and did a stupid # he was like no way there cheeting lol we let him and a few go threw the van and my explorer just to bring every one up to pace. wow that just seams like yesterday.
