nes to surround sound??

I just got an original nintendo (nes) and Im wondering if I can hook it up to my surround sound. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

those have the option of av cables or the switch box right?

yeah, the a/v outputs only have (1) for audio and (1) for video...... then the rf switch thing.

yep it only does have 1 RCA input on the original NES....when i hooked it up in my car i got an RCA splitter that made 1 into 2...and yeah...thats your only choice i'm guessing.

youcould plug it in but it would split the signal and just sound poopy

tv's without L & R audio out tick me off. it's 2007. no tv should be made with no audio out to run to a stereo/surround. the tv i had in high school had outs, and that was 1994.

I have inputs/ouputs on mine I don't even know how to use lol. But I do have 2 for audio!!

run from "out" on the tv to "in" on the stereo/surround. any sound coming from the television will play on your surround.

Dolby pro logic mono movie setting. Most sound will come out the center channel, but get ready to be freaked out by random midi sound effects popping out the surrounds. In this setting it wont matter if you use only one L R input.

I hooked it up w/y cables and there's no popping or mini sounds (so far) but it does only comes through my front speakers. Oh well!
