Needing help with new amp Kicker ZX100.1

I have it fully installed, Pioneer head unit, 2 12' Kicker Comp CVR subwoofers, and I chose the Kicker ZX100.1 amplifier and its an amazing sounding system I installed.

The only problem I am facing is my car didn't start this morning cause the battery was dead. I looked in the trunk today at my amp/sub setup and I took notice that the power LED on the amplifier is always illuminated meaning that it stays on even when the car is shut off. Is this what is draining my battery?

I have been removing the remote wire from the back of my head unit whenever I get out of my car to stop the amp from getting power so my battery dosen't drain.

What do I do to correct this? Its no special setup and all connections are correct. That light should be going off once the car is shut down should it not? Other than that the system sounds excellent, very satisfied with the performance.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

amps remote wire is connected to a constant somewhere in your setup behind the headunit.

supposed to be connected to the ignition wire, or your head units amplifier remote wire.

maybe its a new high current Kicker amp....my Kicker XS100's put out 100 watts at 4ohms and over 1200 at 1ohm...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
