R Rashaddd 5,000+ posts Terrrrrist 5,474 0 Sacramento Jun 15, 2008 #5 add total rms and thats what you should be giving them. say your amp does 80 rms at 8 ohms, chances are it does ~160 at 4 ohms, so wiring them in parallel will give you enough for both because of the resistance drop
