Gauge wattage question

I am going to run a 4 x 70 and a 1000 x1 off of a stock battery and alt. Using 4 gauge. Is this enough power for my amps?

nah. use 0 guage and split to 4 guage. are those rms watts?

yea they are rms. Will using 4 gauge vs 8 be tht much of an advantage?

very true........so its not much of a performance upgrade as much as it is something nice to have for future reference.

If you already have the 4 ga run then just leave it, it's fine. But like the others said, running 0 ga will give you room to upgrade later.
