Needin a New system for my blazer that's gonna POUND!

Current system blew... Wanna make a whole new system, ditch my shit for cheap... (2 SX"s, ones good condition still, other needs a recone, both 1200d's blew...)

Preferably looking at the new Autotek amps that are being built really well now that they took over from the japanese company even tho they are still being built overseas. I'm *PRETTY* set on choosing that line of amps... But not sure what subs to go with. I want shit wired down to 1 ohm so they g2 come in dual 2 ohms. I'm going to be getting one or 2 1000watt autotek amps. I DO NOT want to purchase anything online since after this shit blowing I dont wanna deal with the no return policy shit... I had 2 12" sx's in a **PREFAB** box powered by ONE 1200d. I want something louder. I kno i could get the same, put more power to it and get a custom ported and be louder right there. But I don't wanna go with RE anymore even though they are a great company.

So here's what I need...

6 speakers to replace my stocks

Amp to power them

Mainly SPL but decent SQ Subs (2 15"s)

Amp to power them (Mainly lookin at Autotek at the moment)

Battery for under the hood, and second battery (Maybe 2 yellow tops?)

Already have a Clarion 955 touchscreen deck so I'm set there.

My blazers already 0 gauged up, and ready with 4 guage inputs so lets hear some stuff and recommened anythign else I'm forgetting.

(Since this just happened I want the amps powering the subs to their max *W.O* the gain all the way up because I dont want the amps going quickly like this time...)

Sry for the long post, just know all you guys have good exp with your SUV's and looking for whats been good/bad for you guys. REALLY dont wanna have to get a new alternator... so how have u guys been doin with that part of your system?

Whats your total budget?

You dont need to replace all six speakers- just get a nice set of components, youll be good to go.

I was pretty impressed with the dd's for subs. If you got to the realm theres a vid of one 15 dd3515 in my suv on a 2500d. In the vid it is even hooked up to a tl for a min.

No budget really, got some shit to pay off at the moment but graduation is coming up and that means grad money haha, but i'm not going to the point of say $500 a sub... Clue me in on speakers, that's one of the main things i lack knowledge in for car audio.

Aren't L7's $400 a piece, def can't go for 4 of them... Looks like at the moment that I'll have a Orion 2500d to powering everything. would that power four 12" l7's well or would it be under powering them immensly? Just use that and go with 2 15" l7's? What's with everyone selling the 06's off, not having as good of output as people would like?

from a dealer with warranty, your lookin almost 400$ apiece

get 1 18" MT, it'll wang

The type R 15's would be pretty resonable for ur budget, should be good for the 2500d in wattage also

On Ebay u can probably find a pair of L7s for $400 or less... You'll enjoy em if you looking for SPL with some SQ.

i was going to say single 18" MT until he said he didnt want RE, i jus feel that he was underpowering the SX's and not getting the full potential out of them and he wasnt very impressed

i jus chk the rms on the type r 12's and 4 of them will be great on a 2500d wired to 1 ohm, jus be sure to get the 2 ohm version type r's. 4 12's in the right box should be insanely loud

How much are the mt's, is an 18 REALLY going to have decent sq.... how's the spl gonna be in my blazer with the 2500d do ya think?

Any 4-15 setups i ever heard were never meant to have much of any SQ, they were pretty much SPL. But the single 18 MT will pound seriously i really prefer single sub setups myself. look around on the forum 18MT's have been for sale latelty on here.
