Need your opinions and thoughts this Setup please

Can I get your opinion on ten SA-8's in a 4th order versus one 4inch coil 18" in a normal ported box, both on a 4500watt amp? I want the loudest possible setup.

You have more cone area with 4 SA-8s vs that single 18. More cone area = more air moved = louder (in theory). My vote is for the SA-8s.

it depends on the total displacement of the woofers. so even though one has more cone area one could have more xmax but with such a huge jump in cone area from 10 8's to 1 18 the 10 8's are going to have more cone area and displace more air, and are going to be louder... probably more expensive but louder.

Thanks for your responses guys.

I thinking I could grab some those b stock sa8's from sundown and those would cost about the as a DC Level 6/Trantric SHD/SP4, the 18s I was looking at. Both setup would be in about the same size box.
