Need your opinion

i've been bumpin around with 2 kick comp vr's and it def isnt enough for me. i'm plannin on goin to europe in the spring so the budget is tight right now. after i go im lookin to get a pair of 9512's. but for right now i can get a pair of 12" type r's for $200 total. would i be able to get a custom box made for both of these or are they too different to be able to be swapped out and should i wait to get a custom for the 9512's. and would the 9512's be any better then the type r's to begin with. they would be ported, r's runnin off 900w each and the 9512's i would have to buy another amp to supply them correctly.

Just go to europe and dont worry about your subs untill you get home.

I would like to know why the comp vrs are not loud enough for you. I mean how many systems have you had or heard? Whats your box, amp power wires etc. I mean something doesnt not seem right to me. I have set up some cars with 2 12's of those and they were very loud and impressive.

yea I am thinking his set up might not be right because I have installed many 2 12' comp vr's and they all were loud. Nothing like some of my setups but for a daily average there great I think.
