Need your help on kicker kx 2500!!!

Where in the hell are you getting it fixed for 50?

i did my part of taking a pictures of the 4 subs and the ohm load and it shows 2ohms.. im not paying the $50 to get it fixed and it would be nice to get the shipping back to but if not i can get over it.. ive always wanted a kicker 2500 and i get one and its messed up... so i mean paying the $50 for POLECAT to repair it is the cheapest way out.. my sister works at pay pal and i could get the shipping $ back to if i wanted to be a dick but i just want the $50 to repair it.. i no i said i would pay $25 of it but **** that man.... i got screwed! and im not a happy camper

POLECAT works at kicker and he clearly stated in this thread send him $50 bucks and he will personally walk it through inspections!

I wasnt going to read through 9 pages of this shit, I just saw the first 3. You are lucky you are getting it fixed that cheap. BTW PP would not refund you. Whether you sissy works there or not

well, just because your sister works for paypal doesn't mean she can do anything for you...as a matter of fact she should stay as far away from the claim as possible to avoid any appearance of wrong-doing.

I wish i could help resolve this but i can't. I wish i could say i tested the amp myself before it sold, but i can't. What i do know, is that Justin says/thinks/believes the amp was good when it was sent and has no reason to believe otherwise. You two apparently came to some sort of agreement where he would pay half of the repairs and that now you don't want to follow through. What happens from here, i cannot control and will not try to mediate. I wish both you of you a quick and speedy resolution, and i thank Tracy for being a stand-up guy because $50 seems very reasonable to me.

yes i was going to settle for $25 but Why? honestly i did nothing wrong what so ever but pay WHITEICE and get a shit amp! so i honestly think he should have to pay for everything to make it right.. repairs and shipping but i will pay shipping.. I want $50 there no reason why i should have to spend $25 out of my pocket + 20 to ship there and 20 to ship back.. not happening! all im paying for is the shipping! taking this amp apart can't wait to see what i find!

Well you posted proof so who knows what happened to the thing, personally I would take the $25 get it sent out this week and forget it ever happened.

I know it sucks paying $25 but you already agreed and it is a cheap way to put this entire thing in the past. Personally you are very lucky Polecat is giving you the hookup says a lot about Kicker and it's company I don't imagine you would get a deal like that anywhere else.

ok im posting pics of the insides.. i dont see anything burnt.. but im not a expert! The amp powered on.. stunk a little bit and the subs didn't turn on what so ever!

if you blow an amp, then mail it to someone... won't the damage have been done and not smoke/stink again?

i can't say 100% certain that whiteice is a standup guy, but i got my 2500 from him. it arrived 3 days after i paid, professionally packaged and has worked perfectly at 1 ohm since i've had it. communication and everything was great.

and does it really only cost 50 bucks to repair outside of warranty? thats amazing if so. hell, i'd buy nothing but kicker amps from now on if thats the case.

The amp turned on.. stunk for like a sec then it kinda went away.. but still did not power the subs at all.. so something is apparently wrong.. what? i dont no!

so you don't even know if there is something wrong with the amp......you need to take it to a shop and have it tested.
