Need Wiring Advice!!!

[shanerz21 10+ year member]

I Just bought a cd player with 60x4, audiobahn 5.25 w/85 rms, audiobahn 6x9 w/100 rms (each speaker), and an audiobahn a6004t amp w/ 75 rms x 4. What should i do for wiring and what all do i need? Knukonceptz recommened Complete 8 Gauge 4 Channel Amplifier Installation Kit. If i bought that am i all ready to set up or do i need some other kind or wire? speaker wire or anything? * im a noob *

Also: wheres a good place to place my amp in a 2dr coupe? trunk?

Okay, first of all I would just like to tell you that the equipment you bought was not the best out there, at all. I doubt you will be happy with the sound of Audiobahns speakers, but oh well...

An 8 guage wiring kit will include everything you need to install the amplifier, and it should include speaker wiring. The CD player will require a wiring harness, and the model will depend on what car and head unit it is.

As for the placement of the amp, it can go anywhere you want, under the seat is common but be sure your seats dont hit it when they slide. The trunk would work also, just would require longer wiring for everything and isnt needed really.

dude they have some of the best specs. 85 rms is good for 5.25 speakers and 100 watts rms for 6x9 is good. they got 95bd and wit that amp' date=' how could it sound bad?[/quote']

go with the 8 gauge kit and if it doesn't have speaker wire, walmart is your friend
