Need tweeters

Well im a complete idiot. I was cleaning up all my wires all nice and perfect and when I went to hook everything back up I put the tweeter wire into were the woofer wire should go in the crossover and of course it made a horrible noise for about 2 seconds then popped, ****IT!! so now my left side tweeter is gone.

The component set is a Alpine SPX-177R, it has 26mm tweeters(is this the same thing as 3/4"?) I need 26 mm tweeters cause there in custom kicks and they need to fit into the circles that have been cut to mount them.

The silk dome tweeters sounded good but I want someting a little brighter, probaly something like an aluminum dome tweeter, I really dont want to spend more than $50 on this.

how does that amp sound on those components and how loud do they get? i was thinking of picking one tomorrow at a sale for cheap. BTW you spelled components wrong in your sig.

go check out partxpress.com. they have a lot of tweeters for your price range.

iactualy have an xtra type x tweet if u want it let me know i cant think of a way to use it.
