good for daily driver?

I have a 12" L7 and I am building a box according to their "Street Bass" plan. They say that it will be tuned at 38hz. Is that gonna be too high for a daily driver? If so, what should it be tuned at, and how would I tune it lower if that was the case?

i say tune 2 35hz. they seem 2 do nicely there. 2 tune lower, juss make the port longer. but u have 2 factor box size also
