speakers that will fit in the front of an 03 Acura RSX-S..

bought some focal polykevlar 165k's (6.5") because thats whta the Acura has up front. But the bose speakers up front are pretty shallow and fit in this plastic holder which clamps to the door. As a result, the 165k's dont fit in that plastic hold. Is there some way of getting these to fit or do i need to buy a smaller set?

ideally someone would make a replacement plastic mounting piece that fits 6.5" speakers but i'm not finding any.. do people usually put 5" speakers in these cars?

you will probably need a plastic speaker adapter..

check out crutchfield..

also, try 5.25" speakers...
