Id rather stick to less then 10".. a buddy of mine has a 8" bazooka tube with no sub in it... How would an RI-8 or an Assain 8 with the kicker 300.1 sound?? would the rli-8 be to much for the tube?...

That sucks, I walled my car and my parents dont seem to care.

why dont you run the eclipses you have now with the hifonics amp. install the gain control knob where your folks cant see it and demo it to them in a low setting while bumpin some clean tunes like sade or bach. they will be cool with it and allow you to keep it. little do they know about gain control.

then upgrade your crappy stock speakers ASAP

they never heard the current set-up they just saw the 1600 watts on the amp and flipped pretty much, yea i am gratefull of course for my parents... just wish they werent so up tight at times...

If you want sq you can try a RL-i sealed but i can barley even hear my dads in his suburban but i can hear the rattles it makes

My uncles Ford F150 sounds amazing with the stock premium sound system. I think it's got an 8 or 10" woofer under the rear seats in a molded plastic box.

It's clean, pretty low and actually bumps fairly hard. It's totally an SQ/SQL type setup, and its very enjoyable for listening to music.

if you don't have a DD dealer by you, order a DD 1008 ASAP. you can get it for just over $100. I had one in a ported box around .8 and .9 cubic feet in an explorer and i was happy. i was happier with the 18xxx in there, but the little DD held it's own //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I think im gonna go with a kicker 400.1 amp, build a 10" sealed box like .75-1 cubes then run one of my eclipses for now with the gain like all the way down and once i have more $ get a 10" RL-I or 10" arsenal..

explain to the that the amp is not CEA compliant and that therefor the power ratings are exaggerated.
