I know this may not be the usual post on here but I need helping building a small system for my tahoe since they decided my big subs are bad for my health and well they pay the insurance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif .. I want to make a system that uses preferbly a 8" sub maybe a 10" sealed less then .75 cubes.. I was thinking an 8" assasin and as far as what amp I have not a clue? Any suggestions or anyone with a set up like this.. advice needed, thanks...

yea what I meant to say was my paretns.. typo... they think its killing my ears.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif .. they dont even know anything just saw the huge hifonics 1600 watt amp come in the mail and they flipped.... Id rather stick to less then 10".. a buddy of mine has a 8" bazooka tube with no sub in it... How would an RI-8 or an Assain 8 with the kicker 300.1 sound?? would the rli-8 be to much for the tube?...

please dont put those subs in a bazooka tube. Go with a nice 10" sealed, at least it'll give u more bass than stock.

ok im thinking a 10" sealed under the rear seats... which sub would you suggest for mostly sq.. RL-I is a lil pricy for me what is good for under $100?...and then I need to look for a nice amp hopefully can find one used... Would like a kicker 300.1 be more powerfull then an hifonics 600.1?

Go with ported! (if you can :\ )

To get the same output in a sealed box you need a larger amp and a larger driver. Porting is cheap and innocent looking, unlike your huge hifonics amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif But a ported box IS larger...

What do you think they would notice more, a large speaker or a large box? If you can swing a 12" driver but not the large box thats associated with it you may be able to load it in an isobaric setup. It will cost you one extra driver and more amp power but will cut your box size in half. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Plus once you're on your own or they go easy on you, just take them out of isobaric into a ported and you'll have 2x the output. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

loll.. Im gonna look how much space is under my seats.. if I can fit a 12" in there I think I could get away with it... but to fit under there im sure itd have to be sealed.. basically there gonna look in my car and wanna hear it played after installtion cause well... there crazy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
