i have a 08 tundra crewmax... i dont want to loose any of the clicks (legroom) in the back. therefore, im stuck with choosing a thin woofer/woofers... im prepared to go with 1 or 2 subs, in a 12" or 13"... ive been reading up that alot of the manufacturers are producing them now... JL / RE / KICKER... ETC... im looking for opinions on what you guys think would sound best... im looking for my 16yr old days (loud, deep bass), but also good SQ, seeing as though i use this truck daily... the rest of my set-up will be...
kenwood 812 hu
dynaudio 242gt comp. front stage
not 100% yet on rear door speakers (prob. mb quart 6x9 or co-ax)
amps: narrowed down to either zapco or arc audio...
i have been told that JL is working on a stealth box for this truck with 2 13tw5's... but it may not be available till oct.... http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/audio-and-stereo/117510-jl-audio-crewmax-stealth-box-update/
my local dealer/installer has all the equipment but the sub selection... he is recommending that i lose 3 clicks on the seat and do 1 8" treo ssi... any opinions on this???
any opinions and help will be much appreciated!!!!
