Need the best SQ sub around 500watts

My girlfriend has a 2006 Honda civic coupe and i want to through a decent sub in there that will perform the best putting out the best SQ around 500 watts, she really dont need anything real boomy but something that sounds real good, also a good amp to run with the prefered sub, please place ur opinions

jl 12w6v2 and jl 500/1...if u want to spend that much...

that'd work, pricey tho.

Type R would do good here, then of course RE and ED have some offerings for that power range. You really have tons of options.

you can always buy used...you can probably find a used 500/1 and a used 12w6v2 for that price range...

there has been alot of used 12w6v2's on here lately...mine included

yea the type r would be great for the price i can get the 12's for 105 a piece, arent they rated at like 700 rms
