Need Suggestions!!

Well like the topic says i need some suggestions for my 07 Sentra Spec v. Its been a long time since i have been able to play in car audio so i am kinda rusty on some of the new ways of doing things. So be nice!! lol

I am currently running Alpine 9886 with imprint.

Boston Acoustic Pro6.0 for fronts powered by kicker 450.2.

Rear deck has Pheonix Gold RSD 6x9 in it being powered by kicker 200.2.

Sub is Kicker 12" CVR dual 4 ohm at 2ohm load on a Kicker 400.1

I am currently running the alpine in the front/rear/sub mode. I am debating on weather or not on should switch the alpine to the High/Mid/Low mode and run my bostons bi-amped using the 450.2 and the 200.2 amps.

I guess this would be considered an active setup?

Also would ditch rear speakers so the trunk can breath unless i can run them off the head unit and ill add smaller ones for fill but i dont think i can run imprint and use speaker outs on radio at same time.

Also for my sub i kinda feel like i need more kick. The imprint is wierd with bass some stuff its awesome and othertimes i wish i had more. i was thinking about getting 2 kicker comp 12's to replace the current one dual voice coil. Thought with 2 subs instead of one would fill my needs better. I dont really wanna replace any amps at the moment unless i had to for some reason.

Any suggestions would be awesome. or should i just keep current setup?

running them bi-amped is not the same as running them active. Although you will be able to control how much wattage goes to the tweeter and the woofer separately, the crossover is still controlling the speakers. Active means not using the crossovers from the set and instead using a headunit or eq to control your settings.

If you want more bass and add another sub you are going to need an amp that puts out more power.

What are the power ratings for your 12 inch Kicker? I run 2 - 12 inch orions but I am running a 2400 watt Orion amp...a lil overkill and my gains are real low. I would rather have too much power than not enough!

The 12 i have atm is 400rms 800 max
