Need Suggestions.

I need suggestions guys... I'm in the market for a new car. Price has to be around $8-9K...

I need a relatively large trunk for my Dual 15" Avalanches.

Has to be 2 door. and get good gas mileage.

Has to be reliable... or have a reliable reputation.

I have looked at so far: 2004 Honda Civic Coupe, 1999 Honda Accord Coupe, 1998 Acura 3.0CL Coupe, 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Coupe, 2002 Monte Carlo SS(my parents own this and may sell it to me for cheap), 2003 Nissan Altima (4 Door), 2004 Impala SS, 1999 Ford Explorer Sport, 1999 Toyota Solara

2 door + good gas mileage /= large trunk.

You want the cargo space, you pay the piper...

I think '00-'02 Bonnevilles are in that price range and would fit your needs nicely, but it's a 4-door.

well, it really doesn't have to be a two door, but it has to be relatively compact... pretty much cross the Impala off....

BTW, my old car was a 1999 Grand Prix GT Coupe....

An impala is relatively the same size as a monte carlo...maybe an inch or two bigger at the most.

Out of the choices you listed I'd have to say the Solara (but take that recommendation with a grain of salt as I am heavily biased towards Toyota products...keep the oil changed regularly and ya just can't kill 'em)

Out of All of them, I loved the CL, and I'd like to have an impala...but they are a little pricey... I also like the monte.... I didn't get a chance to drive the solara...

my advice is... don't touch any of the cars on that list that are domestic made...

my pick without a DOUBT is the 3.0CL ... that car is SO reliable, so comfortable on the inside... really slick look on the outside.

really like that car. friend owns one and its sick.

We'll throw a 2000+ 2 Dr. Blazer into the mix... Looked at one today, would like to have the Blazer Extreme though....
