need suggestions for my new setup

The first problem is I cant decide to go with 2 12's or 1 15. I dont think i would be satisfied with just 1 12". I have a Hifonics 1500bx so either I get a super sub that can handle all the power or get 2 subs that take half of that. I had two 12" type r's ported but they never impressed me with spl. I am looking for a sql setup with clean tight hitting bass that will cave in anyone's chest that dare sits in the car.

Can anyone offer suggestions? Thanks! I have a budget for about $400 for the sub. Thanks.

One super sub 15" will do what you want, and do it well...

As far as which one... take your pick of what's going around right now:

RE 15" XXX

Adire Brahma 15"

Death Penalty 15"

SI Magnum 15" (in limbo though, see gen discussion)

I am going old school and found a 15d2 Cerwin-Vega Stroker for my Sonoma. If that doesn't work out, I will try the RE for sure. All the hype and results can't be wrong.

By the way, all my suggestions hit your budget, you stated requirements, and the final outcome is dependent on enclosure and set-up... Good luck and post pics!

How about anOrion H2 in a sealed enc. This is considered a SQ sub correct?
